Just as we near the end of our gastronomic tour, we'll take one more break as we head to the oldest and perhaps the most beautiful church in Makati. The structure was built some time in the early 18th century and is designed with a traditional colonial style. The building is adorned with native inspired works of Christian art that make both the interior and exterior of the building exceptionally beautiful. As a result this church provides us and other visitors an insight onto the creativeness and technicality of church building during the Spanish Era. After all, with ornate designs of the Virgin Mary in the alter and figures of Saint Peter on the outside, there is no doubt that Makati's historic church may even rival those in Europe.
